Vacancy Title: IT Manager
Duty Station: Remote (home-based) with up to 15% travel

Overview
Millennium Partners (MP) is seeking applications for an IT Manager. The IT Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of MP’s IT systems. Work will include Microsoft 365 office, Google Workspace and other similar platforms, and server and network infrastructure. The IT Manager will work remotely to support all offices (home office and project offices). Up to 15% travel is expected.
Background
In late September 2023, USAID awarded the five-year Global Accountability Program/Strengthening National Architectures to Counter Corruption (GAP/SNA) Activity to Millennium Partners. Funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), GAP/SNA will aim to enhance partner country systems and capacity to prevent, detect, investigate, and disrupt transnational corruption, grand corruption, and kleptocracy and to build resilience to corruption.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute infrastructure administration routine activities in Microsoft 365 Office. This will include but will not be limited to: user/group administration, setting security permissions and group policies, monitoring or resource usage, ensure adequate function of all system architecture components, and SharePoint configuration.
• Support staff in orientation, understanding, and ongoing use of technology platforms and software in effective and efficient ways and protect protection of data/data hygiene and security, including regular and ad hoc coaching, guidance and training to all MP staff.
• Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Create online applications and internal tech-enabled approval processes that enable smooth operations, logistics, procurement, and grantmaking processes
• Provide documentation and technical specifications related to procurement of any IT consulting services, equipment, software, for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
• Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data security protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Responsible for ensuring adequate IT capacity, storage planning, and database performance
• Maintain technical documentation related to administered infrastructure and its software/hardware components, and corporate CIT policies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
• Proven experience of at least 5 years of Windows Server and network administration
• System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, or other network related fields are a strong advantage
• Certifications and experience in Microsoft 365 Office and Microsoft Azure administration
• Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SharePoint and Microsoft Entra
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Graph/Rest API, PowerShell, Google Workspace.
• Experience configuring network equipment and systems, office appliances, etc.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
• A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
• Fluent English (oral and written)
• Team player and fast learner
• Good communication skills and personal integrity
